Coming Soon to Downtown – Element Contrast Studio is bringing a fresh wave of holistic rejuvenation to Fredericksburg with a soothing blend of traditional Finnish saunas, invigorating cold plunges, and calming relaxation areas. This thoughtfully designed contrast therapy studio is slated to open in 2025 at 1000 Prince Edward Street, adjacent to Dragonfly Hot Yoga.

Element Contrast Studio reimagines wellness with a scientifically rooted contrast therapy experience:
Sauna: Heat things up in one of two Finnish-style saunas—either the spacious 185°F group sauna or a more intense 210°F “hot” sauna. Both environments detoxify, relieve stress through endorphin release, and enhance blood circulation.
Cold Plunge: Shift into refreshing ice-cold plunge tubs set from 50°F down to a brisk 33°F. This contrast tap energizes the body, reduces inflammation and muscle soreness, sharpens mental clarity, and supports immune function.
Rest & Relaxation: After the heat and chill, discover dual lounge zones—one social with cozy heated seats, and one serene with recliners for quiet reflection and reset.
A Community Built on Wellness & Presence
Element goes beyond traditional spa services. Designed as a phone-free sanctuary, it invites you to unplug and fully engage with the present—whether solo or connecting with others in a mindful environment.
The studio’s ethos stems from founder Anne Kemp’s passion for wellness and contrast therapy, inspired by her time in Germany and Austria. She and her husband plan to create a complementary space to Dragonfly Yoga that merges heat, cold, and connection for deep restoration.
